Meaning of dare – साहस होना, साहस करना । 

Use of dare.

Dare का उपयोग हम मुख्यतः दो प्रकार से कर सकते हें । एक main verb (मुख्य क्रिया) ओर दूसरा auxiliary verb (modals) के तोर पर ।

Use of dare as an auxiliary verb (modals).

Auxiliary verbs के तोर पर हम dare का उपयोग negative ओर interrogative sentences में किया जाता हें । इसमे present tense में third person जो की singular अर्थात (he, she it,) के साथ s का प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता हें ।

How to make negative sentences with dare as an auxiliary verb.

 Dare के साथ negative sentences बनाने के लिए हम dare जो की auxiliary verb हें इसके बाद में हम not का उपयोग करते हें ।

Formula: subject+dare+v1+object.

 

Example

1. मुझमे उसका अपमान करने का साहस नहीं हुआ ।

I dare not insult him.

2. उसने यहाँ आने का साहस नहीं किया ।

She dared not come here.

3. उसको चुनोती को स्वीकार करने का साहस हुआ हें ।

He dare not accept the challenge.

How to use dare to make interrogative sentences

Dare की सहायता से interrogative sentences कैसे बनाए ।

Dare का उपयोग interrogative sentences को बनाने के लिए करते हें तो हम dare या dared का उपयोग करते हें ।

Formula: dare/dared+not+ subject+ verb +object

example: 

1. क्या तुममे मेरी आलोचना करने का साहस हें ?

Dare you criticize me.

2. उसमे उसमे तुम्हें पीटने का साहस नहीं था?

Dared he not beat you?

Note: future tense के लिए present tense के structure का use करते हें ।

Future tense:

1. उसमे यहाँ आने का साहस नहीं होगा ।

He dare not come here.

Use of dare as a main verb.

Main verb के रूप में dare का use करते समय यदि third person singular हें ओर present tense का हें तब हम s या es लगते हें तथा dare के बाद to का उपयोग करते हें ।

यदि negative sentences ओर interrogative sentences को बनाना होता हें तब हम did, do ओर does का use करते हें ।

Example

1. मुझमे उसे चुनोती देने का साहस हें।

I dare to challenge him.

2. उसमे उसे चांटा मारने का साहस हें ।

He dares to slap her.

3. उनमे मेरा विरोध करने का साहस नहीं हें।

They do not dare to oppose me.

4. क्या उमसे यह कहने का साहस था।

Did he dare to say that?

How to use dare to challenge.

जिन हिन्दी वाक्यों में verbs चुनोती देना हो तब उसमे dare का use करते हें , dare का उपयोग हम sentences के अनुसार करंगे ।

Example:

1. वह मुझे लड़ने की चुनोती देता हें ।

He dares me to fight.

2. मैंने उसे कूदने की चुनोती दी ।

I dared him to jump.

3. वह हर खतरे को चुनोती देगा ।

She will dare any danger.
